In order to write a book,
it is necessary to sit down
(or stand up)
and write.
Therein lies the difficulty.

  2. I must agree with Abbey. Many times the most difficult part of something is the most necessary part!

  4. That is so true! One would never guess it would be so difficult to sit down and write. (And therein lies the reason why I haven't posted on my own blog for almost a week!)

  5. I suppose it's just like music, or skiing... Practice, practice, practice. It's just so discouraging in the beginning, when you're no good at all. Just today, Dickens took my breath away with his ability to use the English language to convey joy, sadness, longing...
Then I sat down with a notebook and pen, scribbled a bit, and asked myself, "Why do I even try?" :D
