On the Right Track

My dad's recent attempts to eliminate some unwanted valleys in our back yard revealed that we have some intruders:

Apparently the intruders had no sense of direction, made several trips to the birdfeeder, and had a distinctive waddle.

I love our neighborhood ducks! They're definitely one of the perks of living by the water.

  2. Hello Shannon,
I was browsing your Etsy shop--I LOVE the aprons! I've been drooling over the Marie Madeline Studio ones for a long time, but yours are cheaper--I was wondering, though, about a couple of things:
    1. If I had one custom made, would the price change?
    2. How durable are the straps?
    3. Could the straps be widened if I was going to buy a custom apron from you, and would it affect the price?

Thank you! I'm gonna start saving up my pocket-money!

    God bless,
    Hannah

  3. Miss Jen, Thank you so much for letting me know about your giveaway! I will definitely be visiting your blog again!

Hannah, Thank you so much for your kind words! As far as your questions go:
    1. I do not charge extra for custom work; the only the way the price would go up is if the fabric you wanted was more expensive.
    2. The straps are thin but durable (I assume you're talking about the scallop aprons). They're made from four layers of fabric and topstitched.
    3. The straps can easily be widened at no extra cost.

If you have any other questions, just let me know!

    Blessings,
    Shannon

  4. Oh, sorry--yes, the scalloped aprons are the ones I meant.
Wonderful! Those are all happy answers. *Grin* I am definitely not spending any more money than I can help until I've got enough to buy one!
So in terms of choosing fabric and getting it to you (or letting you know what I want so you can find it, or whatever your system is), how would that work?

    Thank you thank you!
    Hannah
