  3. I can almost smell the wonderful scent!

May I ask how you go about finding such beautiful images fo ryour blog? I especially love the pictures of wedding brides in the post you made about the dilemma of having a beautiful wedding. Do you google a subject in a particular way? I would love those types of images from that period as your pics. Victorian, Regency? I'm not sure how I should go about looking for such beautiful images. I was rather hoping you could direct me to how to find them. TIA

  4. Hmm..I had left a comment here a couple of days ago inquiring about your beautiful vintage Victorian pictures of paintings. I had wanted to know wherein I might find pictures like that for my blog. I don't know if the msg was lost or what. BTW, I'm also a member of the Sense and Sensibility forum.

    Thank you!

  5. Thank you :-)

Yaya Orchid, we've been on vacation for the past week, so that's why I hadn't replied! Sorry for the delay, please don't think I was just ignoring you! I find art in two ways -- I sometimes search allposters.com for a topic (for instance, "bride" or "wedding"), and I also keep a Word document with a list of my favorite artists/artwork (it's about 17 pages long!). Whenever I find a painting/artist that I like, I add it to my list! It really helps, since I have a rather short memory :-)

Sarah H, thank you so much! You made my day! :-)

    Yours in Christ,
    Shannon

  6. Shannon, so sorry I repeated my request. I had gotten one of those email msgs that say something like "msg delivery failed' or something like that. I thought perhaps there was a problem on my end of the post. But thank you for your reply and your help. :) I will certainly check out that posters site.

  8. Hello!
I recently stumbled upon your blog in my search for a tiered skirt tutorial. I really enjoy your blog. I too am a child of the king and homemaker.

Congrats on the upcoming wedding and enjoy the dress construction!
