It's About Time...

I'm finally able to post some pictures of the wedding! We received our CD of pictures in the mail on Friday, and had a grand time browsing through them -- all 1,079 of them! I'll be posting my favorites over the next few weeks.

These may take a while to load, since I've left them a bit bigger than usual so that you can see more details when you click on them.

Tomorrow I hope to post all of the juicy details about "the dress!" Forgive me if I load up my blog with all thing wedding related for the next little while -- I had too much fun planning this wedding to not blog about it! *wink*

  17. Thank you so much for posting these lovely wedding pictures. I have to admit to being a mostly lurker and yet I teared at the beautiful simplicity in the photos. It reminded me very much of a family wedding I attended as a kid. My mom made the my cousin's dress and we held the ceremony at my house. The intimacy of that wedding sticks with me so much more that the other overblown, trying too hard, and go into debt weddings I've been to. Those just seem to blur together. Wedding planners don't seem very imaginative to me. Anyway, many, many congratulations to you! God bless!!

  25. I know that these are some years old but I m new to your blog and wanted to say that they are stunning. I love the dress and I also love your veil and was delighted to see that you wore it down (as I did) for the ceremony. God bless - Susanne

    1. Susanne,

Thank you so much for your kind words! And welcome to my blog, too!

Having my veil down was one of the few requests my then-fiance had, but I'm glad I did regardless -- veils seem a bit pointless otherwise. ;-)

      Cheers,
      Susanne

  26. I do agree but I also think that is lovely that your future husband asked you too. I kept mine down until my husband lifted it for 'the kiss'. I think yours looks beautiful. S

    1. Thanks, S! My dress ended up becoming my daughter's baptismal gown, but I've kept my veil -- perhaps she'll want it one day. :-)

      Cheers,
      Shannon
