Magnificent

God has made many amazing and magnificent creatures, but birds of prey have to rank particularly high on the list.

A red-shouldered hawk has been visiting us recently, and last time he stayed long enough for me to change out my camera lens.

And take about twenty pictures.

Oh, how I love that "continuous shooting" option!

  6. I found your lovely blog through a link on the "Blessed Femina" blog, and I'm so glad you did! I just thought I would leave a quick comment, congratulate you on your wee bairn and wish you and your little family a joyous and blessed new year. May God richly bless you during this upcoming year.

"Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is His reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate." (Psalm 127:3-5)
