I'll certainly take a picture of the bow making jig -- it's quite simple (and a total knock-off of the one for sale on The Ribbon Retreat), and it really does wonders when you're trying to make certain bows.

Thanks for stopping by!

Blessings,
Shannon~ Shannonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08882650511821959701noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1278139998273750963.post-87482761371942258612014-08-04T15:45:55.923-07:002014-08-04T15:45:55.923-07:00Thanks, Hannah! We're also excited that our littles finally have a cousin -- not only will they have a playmate, but they'll also have to share the limelight, which will be VERY good for them. ;-)

Blessings,
Shannon~ Shannonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08882650511821959701noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1278139998273750963.post-20550988613222779362014-08-04T15:42:37.706-07:002014-08-04T15:42:37.706-07:00Krista,
I think I'm on the some page with you...Krista,

I think I'm on the some page with you -- I don't really care how gifts are presented to me, but I do enjoy having a little fun with the gifts I give! I used the love the old Martha Stewart show when I was a teen. It was so well put together, in a way that a live show just can't live up to (in my opinion).

The holders are just narrow strips of cardstock (about 1" wide, I think?). You can almost-kind-of see in the 2nd picture that the ends of each piece are folded down 1/4", and then under 1/4"-3/8". I used double stick tape to secure the folded-under ends to the folder. I don't imagine they're extremely secure, but for a gift presentation they seemed to work! The bows all have double prong alligator clips or those little snap clips, so they clip easily to the holders. The headbands are wrapped around the holders and secured with a little piece of washi tape in the back.

Thanks (as always) for your kind words!

Blessings,
Shannon~ Shannonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08882650511821959701noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1278139998273750963.post-85459767970628285202014-08-04T12:46:50.272-07:002014-08-04T12:46:50.272-07:00Those are adorable! It sounds really neat but I'm a visual person so I'm having a little trouble picturing it in my head. :-) Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1278139998273750963.post-19798989182567322092014-08-04T10:10:17.251-07:002014-08-04T10:10:17.251-07:00That's so cute!! This reminds me of "back in the day" when I would watch the Martha Stewart Show (the one pre-dating the talk show format). I appreciated her encouragement to technical excellence.

Who knew a gift of baby bows could turn philosophical?? :)

Actually, how do you do the holders themselves? I couldn't quite "wrap" my mind around that!

KristaMrsSMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05059609471160531234noreply@blogger.com
