What I've Been Up To... And a Giveaway!

Yes, I've been absent from my blog for well over a week now. Most inexcusable, I know -- but I do have a good excuse!

I've been spending a lot of time with this:

And this:

And these:

And a *lot* of time with this:

And some time with this, too:

Any ideas? The first reader to comment with the correct answer (or the reader who comes up with the closest answer) will receive an undisclosed prize -- undisclosed, because the prize is the answer! *hint hint*

If no one comes up with the exact answer before February 25th, I'll pick the closest answer and post a "reveal."

And keep your eyes open for some hints...

  1. OOoo!!! Let's see.....

    Paper Dolls?

  2. Patterns?

Thanks so much for holding this!

  3. Hi, it's HannahH from sense and sensibility ! Love your blog ! are you making a new pattern, perhaps for something historically inspired?

  4. I guess you could call me an unofficial follower on your blog. ;) I've been reading your lovely blog for sometime now, but I'm not sure if I've ever left any comments....

My guess for what you have been up to, is creating a sewing pattern of somesort!

  5. Oh, I have no idea, Shannon! Some of your beautiful Jane Austen notecards? Or some sort of sewing pattern? I can't wait to find out!

    ~ Love,

  6. Let me think.... Some kind of sewing pattern? A piece of clothing or apron that is historical inspired? Like a skirt, dress, top, purse, or a bag!

  7. I'll bet you're drafting a pattern. How exciting!

  8. Looks like you're making some sewing patterns!

  9. Your clues helped, but I'm guessing you're making a new apron pattern. Or perhaps a patten to sell on etsy? Like your popular scalloped apron?

  10. Or e-pattens to print out?

  11. Oh, oh! I'm going to follow everyone else's guess and say it is a pattern. Oh, I do so hope that I win! :) I think that you are a great sewer and want to become just like you when I am older. I really liked your wedding dress too! That would be really neat if I could do that for my wedding.
    In Christ,

  12. More lovely Jane Austen notecards?? Its something for your etsy shop, i´m sure! :-)

  13. My first guess was that you might be doing notecards like the Jane Austen sets...but now the pattern suggestion sounds quite plausible. :-D

I'd love to hear your thoughts! Thank you so much for stopping by!
